Dear Michigan Avenue Elementary Families,
We are excited to welcome you to our Open House on Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Open House is a special opportunity for families to visit classrooms, meet teachers, and learn more about the exciting learning experiences planned for our students this year. We value the partnership we share with our families and look forward to spending the evening together as we celebrate learning and growth at Michigan Avenue Elementary.
As you visit your child's classroom, you'll learn about curriculum expectations, classroom routines, and ways to support your child's success throughout the school year. Most importantly, you'll have the chance to connect with the teachers and staff who are dedicated to helping your child thrive.
Special Opportunity for 3rd Grade Families:
An informational session for 3rd grade parents and guardians will be offered in the cafeteria during Open House. We encourage all 3rd grade families to attend this important session either before or after visiting your child's classroom. The session will provide valuable information about 3rd grade expectations and support resources to help your child have a successful year.
