Book Club Starts Soon

Do you like to escape into a good book?
Do you like to read exciting stories and imagine you are there?
Then Book Club is for you!
Who? Book Club is open to 3rd through 5th grade students who want to read a book and gather to talk about it.
When? We will be meeting on Tuesdays in room 1-140 from 7:30-8:00 am
How much? FREE (books will be used from the class sets in the library)
Requirements?
- Students will need to arrive at the picnic table by the front of the office by 7:25 am to be admitted into the building as a group.
- Students will need to maintain at least a “C” in all classes and have no office referrals.
- Parents should sign up for Parent Square (Michigan Avenue Elementary) for communication purposes.
We will begin meeting Tuesday, October 7 to discuss book options and hand out books. Please have your parents fill out the information below and turn it into:

We will begin with the Kingdom Keepers series. The Kingdom Keepers is a New York Times bestselling series of children's novels by Ridley Pearson, published by Disney Editions and Disney Hyperion, that
follows five teens who become models for a holographic park guide technology and must protect Disney parks from villains who come to life after dark.

¿Quién?
El Club de Lectura está abierto para los estudiantes de 3.º a 5.º grado que deseen leer un libro y reunirse para comentarlo.
¿Cuándo?
Nos reuniremos los martes en el salón 1-140 de 7:30 a 8:00 a. m.
¿Costo?
GRATIS (los libros se tomarán de los juegos de clase disponibles en la biblioteca).
Requisitos:
- Los estudiantes deben llegar a la mesa de picnic frente a la oficina a las 7:25 a. m. para poder entrar al edificio en grupo.
- Los estudiantes deberán mantener al menos una calificación de “C” o superior en todas las materias y no tener reportes disciplinarios en la oficina.
- Los padres deberán inscribirse en ParentSquare (Michigan Avenue Elementary) para fines de comunicación.
