Academy of Marketing and Entrepreneurship

What is the Academy of Marketing and Entrepreneurship?
The Academy of Marketing and Entrepreneurship is designed to give students an overview of business principles and concepts in the field of finance. Students will acquire the fundamental knowledge and skills required to operate a business. Students will progress from the conceptualization of a product, to marketing and eventually distributing a product.

Why an Academy?
An Academy integrates college-preparatory curriculum with a career theme. In other words, an Academy offers:
  1. "career-focused curriculum" to a subset of students (school within a school)
  2. by involving teachers from different subjects (college-prep academics)
  3. working together as a team and providing students with exposure (work-place experience)
  4. to their chosen career field (partnerships with local businesses)
Students learn marketable career skills integrated with a rigorous academic program that incorporates technology into the classroom.
